| Research purposeWith the rapid increase of the obese population in our country,the research on methods of losing weight has become a hot spot in sports research.Conventional wisdom has it that endurance cardio is the main way to lose weight,and in recent years there has been a lot of interest in the effects of high-intensity exercise(especially high-intensity interval training).Sprinting is not only the most basic sport,but also the most popular high-intensity sport in primary and secondary schools.In this study,obese adolescents were given eight-week sprint training,and their body mass index(BMI),body composition,skimpy thickness and physical quality were monitored and studied,and the changes of body mass index,body composition,skimpy thickness and fitness test scores before and after the training were observed,so as to explore methods for the research on weight loss of adolescents.The research methodsThis paper adopts the methods of documentation,experiment and mathematical statistics.60 obese children aged 11-12 years from grade 5 and 6 of primary school were selected and randomly assigned to control group A(15 boys),control group B(15 girls),experimental group A(15 boys)and experimental group B(15 girls).The control group was organized according to the routine teaching content,and the experimental group was given eight-week sprint training intervention.Test the related indexes of each group before and after training.The indicators tested are:1.Body composition.2.Skin fold thickness(skin fold thickness parts: abdomen,triceps humerus,underscapular Angle and front thigh).3.Physique test(height,weight,standing long jump,1min sit-up,1min rope skipping,50 m and sitting body forward bend).The results of the study1.After the intervention of eight-week sprint training,it came to the conclusion that there was no significant difference in weight and BMI of the obese teenagers in the control group before and after training(P > 0.05).The weight and BMI of the obese teenagers in the experimental group were significantly different before and after training(P<0.01).In the experimental group,boys’ weight and BMI decreased more than girls’.There was no significant difference in body fat rate before and after training(p > 0.05).After training,there was no significant difference in the flaps oftriceps humerus,subscapular horn,abdomen and front thigh in the control group(p0.05).There was a significant difference in body fat before and after training in the experimental group(p<0.01).In the experimental group,there were significant differences in the skin folds of triceps brachii,underscapular Angle,abdomen and front thigh before and after training(p<0.01).There were significant differences in the skin folds of triceps brachii,underscapular Angle,abdomen and front thigh of obese girls before and after the training intervention in the experimental group(P < 0.05).2.In terms of physical quality,after the intervention of eight-week sprint training,the results showed that there was no significant difference in the analysis and comparison of 1min crunching,1min jumping rope,50 m,standing long jump and sitting forward bending before and after training for obese teenagers in the control group(P > 0.05).Among them,there were significant differences in standing long jump,sitting forward bend and rope skipping before and after training in the experimental group of obese teenagers(p<0.05).There was a significant difference between 50 meters and sit-ups(p<0.01).The research conclusionThe control group(15 males and 15 females)and the experimental group(15males and 15 females)were compared and analyzed through eight-week sprint training intervention.1.The intervention of eight-week sprint training can significantly reduce body mass index(BMI),indicating that eight-week sprint training has a very good effect on weight loss of obese teenagers.2.After the intervention of eight-week sprint training,the physical shape of the students was improved.Due to the differences in the distribution of body fat between men and women,boys’ body shape improved better than girls’.3.After the intervention of eight-week sprint training,the physical quality of obese adolescents was improved and maintained,especially for lower limb strength and core endurance,and agility,flexibility and balance were improved.It proves that eight-week sprint training can improve the physical quality of obese teenagers. |
