With the increasing closely contact between pet dogs and humans,Salmonella can spread between dogs and humans,which cause huge harm to the health of dogs and human.At present,the treatment of pet dogs salmonellosis in clinical is mainly dependents on antibiotics.However,due to the widespread use of antibiotics,lead to the increase and spread of Salmonella resistance was induced,which has made the clinical treatment of Salmonella infection face severe challenges.In this study,samples were collected by anal swab method;the pet dogs Salmonella from Luoyang area were isolated and identificated;the drug susceptibility and resistance genes of pet dogs Salmonella were tested,which provides a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of salmonellosis in pet dogs.The research results are as follows:(1)A total of 310 samples of pet dogs feces from Luoyang City and its surrounding counties were collected by anal swab method.The Salmonella was preliminarily isolated by TTB enrichment liquid,MacConkey agar medium and SS agar medium,and 73 strains of Salmonella were finally obtained by Gram staining,biochemical identification,molecular identification and serotype identification.(2)23 common-used antibiotics in clinical were subjected to the antibiotics susceptibility test by Kirby-Bauer method.The results showed that 73 strains of Salmonella present with different degrees of resistance.The resistance rates of amoxicillin,tetracycline and sulfisoxazole were the highest by 84.93%,84.93% and 82.19%,respectively;followed by ampicillin,doxycycline,chloramphenicol,cotrimoxazole and trimethoprim,the resistance rates were 78.08%,71.23%,64.38%,64.38% and 76.71%,respectively;the resistance rates of piperacillin,ceftriaxone,cefaclor,cefoxitin,gentamicin,ciprofloxacin and norfloxacin were 42.47%,43.84%,41.10%,43.84%,31.51%,39.73% and 31.51%,respectively;the resistance rates of cefotaxime and levofloxacin were 28.77% and 20.55% respectively;The lower drug resistance rate were metolacin,fosfomycin,amikacin,cefepime,meropenem and ceftazidime,they were 8.22%,6.85%,5.48%,2.74%,2.74% and 10.96%,respectively.The results of multi-drug resistant analysis showed that 73 strains of Salmonella multidrug resistant range from 1 antibiotic to 20 antibiotics,and the multi-drug resistance spectrum was very broad.The number of strains with multi-drug resistance accounted for 91.78%(67/73)..(3)A total of 22 drug resistance genes primer for aminoglycosides,tetracyclines,?-lactams,sulfonamides and chloramphenicol were detected.Among them,the detection rates of aminoglycoside resistance genes aadA1,aadA2,aadB,aacC2,aacC4,aac(3)-IIa,aadD and aph(3)-IIa were 65.75%,79.45%,30.14%,80.82%,100%,50.68%,0 and 58.90%,respectively;the detection rates of tetracycline resistance genes tetA,tetB,tetC,tetD,tetE and tetG were 36.99%,23.29%,73.97%,9.59%,61.64% and 2.74%,respectively;the detection rates of ?-lactam resistance genes blaCMY,blaPSE and blaTEM were 41.10%,72.60% and 72.60%,respectively;the detection rates of sulfonamides resistance genes sulI,sulII and sulIII were 89.04%,94.52% and 16.44%,respectively;the detection rates of chloramphenicol drug resistance genes catI and flo were 64.38% and 71.23%,respectively.In summary,the drug resistance of Salmonella in pet dogs was serious in Luoyang city,which provides a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of salmonellosis in pet dogs.
