In vivo optical functional imaging can observe and track the functional parameters of biological tissue in vivo with minimally invasive or non-invasive conditions.It plays an more and more important role in the researches of basic life science and clinical diagnosis.Facing the diverse needs in basic researches and clinical applications,optical functional imaging often involves different imaging modalities,such as Spectral Imaging,Speckle Imaging,Fluorescence Imaging and so on.Although different imaging modalities may adopt a variety of hardware devices with different functions and performances,as well as different signal processing and reconstruction methods,the software platforms used in various optical functional imaging systems share common characteristics in terms of data visualization and human-computer interaction from the perspective of users.The development of a software framework for optical functional imaging system that can be adapted to a variety of hardware equipment,data processing and analysis algorithms for diverse practical needs is of great practical value for the applications of optical functional imaging systems.Here,an extendable software system for optical functional imaging was developed based on Microsoft ActiveX technology in this thesis.The main results are described as follows:(1)An extendable software framework for the plug in management of device control,data acquisition and data processing algorithm is proposed,and two optical functional imaging methods,multi-wavelength intrinsic optical signal imaging and laser speckle contrast imaging of blood flow are integrated into the this universal software framework by using ActiveX as an example of the implementation of the software system.(2)The performance tests of the software system showed that the software system has good processing speed and memory occupation.Furthermore,the system was validated by both tissue phantom and in vivo experiments in detecting the changes in blood flow velocity,concentration of oxygenated hemoglobin,concentration of deoxygenated hemoglobin and concentration of total hemoglobin.
