Coal is the main energy source for production and consumption in China. There are many kinds of trace elements in coal.Trace elements are closely related to ecological environment and human health. It is one of the hotspots in coal geology research.Huaibei mining area is one of the main coal producing areas in eastern China. In order to study the distribution characteristics and geological significance of trace elements in Huaibei mining area, this paper collected four coal mines of Luling Coal Mine,Yangliu Coal Mine,Yuandian Yijing Coal Mine and Zhuxianzhuang Coal Mine. The 46 coal samples of the Chinese Communist Party were tested for the content of 39 trace elements by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS)and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry(ICP-OES).The experimental test, mathematical statistics analysis and theoretical analysis were combined. The research method is used to analyze the trace element content and distribution characteristics of coal seams in Huaibei mining area.Through the collection of different layer coal samples in four coal mines and the testing of trace elements in coal, the single elements are used as the basis for distinguishing different layers, and the trace elements of each layer are extracted. Then, the content of the test sample is compared with the Carboniferous-Permian range of China and North China, and the average value is used as an index to measure the enrichment of trace elements in coal in the study area. Then, the ratio of trace element content in different coal seams in Huaibei mining area to the content in the crust is obtained, and the enrichment coefficient of elements in Huaibei mining area is obtained. The results show that Be,Cd,Cu,Ga,Li,Pb and Sb are normal types.Only Al,B,and Fe are enriched;and more than half of Al,As,Mg,Co,Cr,Mn,Ni,V,Sn,Sr,Sc,Si,U,etc.are loss-type,maximum enrichment The coefficient is Fe in the 7 coal seam with an enrichment factor of 13.3503 and a minimum value of Si with an enrichment factor of 0.001.Through the study of rare earth elements,it is found that LREE is obviously enriched in Huaibei mining area, and HREE is obviously depleted. The ?Eu is 0.45~0.60,which is negatively obvious. The ?Ce is 1.01~1.07,which is weak positive anomaly. In general, the ?Eu in the coal seam is negative, and the ?Eu value is basically affected by the source rock.Usually the terrigenous clastic rock has The negative anomaly of Eu indicates that the rare earth elements in coal in Huaibei mining area are closely related to terrigenous clastic rocks.?Ce is a positive anomaly, indicating that the coal-forming environment of the coal seam is a reducing environment. The inversion of the paleoenvironment by the geochemical indicators of trace elements shows that the environment during the deposition of water in the Huaibei mining area is anaerobic, and the water is basically in a medium-stratified anaerobic environment to a strongly stratified reducing environment; The environment is constrained by a variety of factors, from paleo-climate to warm and humid climates. Therefore, various indicators indicate that coal mineralization is a reduction of marsh environment, and stable supply of terrestrial debris materials under drought to humid climate conditions.
