Geological bodies have different responses to each exploration method,so a single method can not achieve significant results in mineral exploration,especially in some areas with relatively complex geological conditions,it is often difficult to achieve the purpose of exploration.A variety of geophysical and geochemical exploration methods are used to carry out comprehensive exploration and give full play to the advantages of various exploration methods.Xihuai Baogutu region in the north of xinjiang is located in the isolated basin belt of junggar kazakstan-junggar plate in the north of junggar.The task of this work is to carry out 1:50,000 high-precision gravity,magnetic and iip areal measurements,conduct analogy analysis with the abnormal characteristics of typical copper(gold)deposits in the area,summarize the comprehensive abnormal characteristics of the deposits,and combine geological and geochemical data to screen the regions with obvious abnormal characteristics and divide the mineralization prospects.CSAMT and other comprehensive geophysical and geochemical exploration methods were used to carry out profile precision survey and verification in the prospective area,so as to make a preliminary evaluation of copper,gold and other non-ferrous metal mineral resources in the study area.This paper collects the data of the former personage geochemical exploration,studies the stratigraphic,structural and geophysical characteristics of the study area,and makes statistics on the physical parameters of the strata,rocks and ores in the study area.On this basis,three comprehensive geophysical prospecting methods,namely gravity method,magnetic method and polarization method,are designed.The principle,data processing and interpretation process of controlled source audio magnetotelluric sounding(CSAMT)are introduced emphatically.The results of areal exploration are as follows: the five zone characteristics of regional gravity anomalies and 21 local gravity anomalies;12 local magnetic anomalies were divided.12 IP abnormal regions were divided.There are 40 fault structures in the inferred area.The metallogenic geological background and metallogenic conditions of strata,structure and magmatic rocks in the study area are roughly ascertained.It is divided into five metallogenic prospective areas.In order to verify and verify the anomalies in the metallogenic prospective area,the proven porphyry copper deposits in the study area were selected and nine precise physicochemical exploration profiles of gravity,magnetism,electricity and chemistry were designed.The comprehensive exploration results of physicochemical exploration show that the typical porphyry copper deposit in the study area has obvious abnormal characteristics of gravity,magnetism,electricity and chemistry.According to the prospecting criteria,polymetallic ore bodies,such as copper,gold,lead and zinc,whose parent rock is granitic diorite,were delineated on the CSAMT profile of the adjacent side.This work provides a reference basis for the follow-up geological and geophysical exploration in the Xihuaibaogutu ancient map region.
