In order to efficiently analyze electrically scale or large array of scattering problem,we need to improve the method of gaining scattering characteristics of the medium with less unknown numbers. The electromagnetic problems can be split into an internal issue and an external issue by generalized transition matrix method.Internal issues is mainly considering the material, structure, shape and internal sources, which in order to get responses from external electromagnetic fields of the sub-module as well as its generalized transition matrix model.External issue has no relation with the internal structure and materials, but with the number and the distribution of sub-module in whole system. In large-scale scattering system, scattering characteristics can be obtained by using generalized transition matrix method on the defining reference plane instead of the internal substances, which will reduce the number of unknowns in matrix equation and improve the efficiency of the numerical calculations. This paper describes the design methodology and process of the simulation software for analyzing electromagnetic scattering problems based on the generalized transition matrix method. The simulation platform is developed by Visual Studio MFC library for interactive interface, the architecture as a whole is divided into pre-processing module, calculation module and post-processing module.Data exchange between modules, collaboratively complete the entire simulation process.
