Tunable chiral metamaterial is one of the key materials that is used to construct the reconfigurable and functional components for the future nano photonic system, which find huge potential in polarization-sentive imaging, nano holography, phase tailing and controlling and so on.In this dessertation, the change in some optical properties of a chiral metamaterials caused by the change in geometry will be studied. It is believe that sa a basic reaseach, this work will be beneficial to expore and develop some novel tunability-based metadevices. The main contents are as following:(1)Some retrieval methods based on the tranmission and reflection,Sparameters are summaried and applied to obtain the tranmission properties of a chiral metamaterial before and after deformation with the utilization of COMSOL Multiphysics and FDTD Solutions, such as effective refractive index,impedance.(2)Through the simulation technique, the change in optical rotation(OR)and ciraular dichroism(CD)of structrural chiral metmaterials are investigated according to the change of dimension derive from deformation.Compared to the traditional optical active materials that realize the OR by accumulation of phase difference of two opposite circular polarized components proportional to the transmission, chiral metamaterials may regulate OR through the deformation of metaatom.(3)Through controlling the geometric parameters of a certain chiral metaatom such as orientation, size, dimension, the regulation roles of phase of scattered light are explored. The current research is meaningful for tailing wave front through chiral nanobody.
