In nonlinear systems,the effect of signal processing can be improved by enhancing noise under certain conditions,which is called stochastic resonance.In this paper,the phenomenon of suprathreshold stochastic resonance in multilevel threshold system is studied.The specific research content is as follows:Based on the mutual information and three different threshold value methods,the paper studies the suprathreshold stochastic resonance in multilevel threshold system under the action of additive and multiplicative Gaussian noise,and finds that the phenomenon is affected by the output elements of each threshold unit,the number of threshold units,the setting method of threshold and the value of threshold.The selection of the value of threshold and the number of threshold output units is important for the appearance of suprathreshold stochastic resonance phenomena in the system and the improvement of information transmission.At the same time,by comparing the setting method of threshold,it is found that the grouping thresholds is less effective in information transmission than when not grouping.Then the suprathreshold stochastic resonance in multilevel threshold systems with additive Gaussian noise and three multiplicative non-Gaussian noises is studied and it is found that suprathreshold stochastic resonance is robust to noise.By comparing the effects of each multiplicative noise,it is found that the selection of Cauchy noise is the most detrimental to the appearance of suprathreshold stochastic resonance phenomenon in the system.Finally,the effect of suprathreshold stochastic resonance on image processing in multithreshold system is studied with PSNR as evaluation criterion.It is found that the effect of image processing is closely related to the selection of the output elements of the system threshold unit.
