| DIP2B is a member of DIP2 protein family encoded by DIP2B gene.However,the role of DIP2B on mitochondria in cell stress have not been studied yet.The main objective of this research is to find out whether disconnected interaction protein 2 homolog B(DIP2B)target mitochondria.In the present thesis,an overview of such functions reported in the literature is firstly conducted.The 293T cells,DIP2B shRNA construct,Mito-Tracker red,Bafilomycin A1 drug was used to study the role of DIP2B on mitochondria in cell stress.We selected Flow Cytometry as the method of choice.Cytological analysis was conducted to study morphological changes in 293T cells their possible functional links between DIP2B and mitochondria.We have identified autophagy could be inhibited by Dimethy-a-Ketoglutarate,by addition of DMKG to cell cultured in nutrient-free(NF)conditions increased cellular AcCoA levels.Our findings provide further evidence to investigate the function of DIP2B. |
