Wide azimuth seismic exploration is a popular method in recent years.It has been recognized and favored by the academia and industry in the exploration of oil and gas resources.Compared with the rapid development of wide azimuth acquisition technology,the processing and interpretation of seismic data is relatively slow.It is difficult to meet the requirements of quality and accuracy by using the azimuth processing technology,and the OVT domain processing method is limited in improving the final image.The new full azimuth imaging technology is more perfect both in theory and application,especially in the exploration and identification of fracture area.Firstly,this paper reviews the development of wide azimuth seismic data processing technology,summarizes the three stages of the process,and analyzes each representative technology.Secondly,the principle of full directional imaging technology is analyzed,which lays a theoretical foundation for the application of the technology in practical data.The key of imaging lies in velocity.So velocity modeling is an important part of full azimuth imaging processing.In this paper,the method of grid tomography velocity modeling is introduced,and the principle and Realization of the method are described.Then,this paper focuses on the study of the imaging characteristics of the dip gathers,and summarizes the imaging law of different geological bodies in the dip gathers.Finally,applied this technology to YueMan 3D area,integrated use of the Kirchhoff imaging technology and full azimuth imaging technology and comparative analysis on the output results reflect the advantages of full azimuth imaging technology in SNR and resolution in the application process,summed up a set of processes and key parameters for full azimuth imaging.The accuracy and flexibility of full azimuth imaging makes it have many advantages in the production.With the development in theory and application,the prospect of this technique in exploration of application will be broader.
