The Huogeqi copper mine is located in the Cu-Pb-Zn polymetallic metallogenic belt of Langshan-Slagtai Mountain.It is located in the western part of the northern margin of the North China Plate.The strata reveal the Precambrian metamorphic rocks.The magmatic rocks here have long activity and high intensity.The structure is complex,and the ore-forming geological conditions are very superior.On the other side,the Qiqi copper mine is a typical copper,lead,zinc and iron deposit in the western part of the northern margin of the North China Plate.The ore body is mainly produced in the second member of the Agulugou.It is formatted in the Zaerta Mountain Group in Mesoproterozoic Era,the ore-bearing lithology is mainly included carbonaceous slate,quartzite and so on,In addition,it has obvious layer control features.However,there are still many major controversies in the metamorphic rock sequence,ore-controlling factors,and genesis of the ore deposits in the mining area,which seriously restricts the next prospecting work in the mining area.Based on the previous data,this paper will focus on the geological characteristics of mining area.The following things like the characteristics of strata,structure and magmatic rocks in the mining area,analyzing the occurrence of copper,lead,zinc and iron ore bodies,and summarizing the ore-controlling factors of the deposit will be discussed emphatically.The structure of ore control and the mode of ore control are constructed.The research shows the following conclusions.(1)Combining the regional data,the stratigraphic sequence of the mining area is re-determined.The ore-bearing horizon of the copper-lead-zinc-iron ore is the second section of the Agulugou Formation.(2)The overall structural form of the mining area is a SSW to "W" inverted steering angle.What ' s more,the No.1 deposit is located in the south inverted wing,and the southern EW fracture zone may be the reason of the sudden "pinch-out" of the No.1 ore body on the-3 line.(3)Basically,the ore-controlling factors of this area have been identified,and the structural ore-controlling model has been constructed.It is believed that the various copper-copper polymetallic ore deposits mainly exist in the second section of the Agulugou Formation.(4)On the basis of summarizing the ore-forming rules,combined with geological,geophysical and geochemical exploration data,the prospecting target area of the mining area will be delineated.
