Survey is the first procedure of geophysical prospecting for petroleum,and is also the foundation of geophysical prospecting for petroleum.Survey duty is stake out the point to the field according to the design,as position for geophysical data acquisition,processing and interpretation.Survey group should provide the corresponding maps and data for client.The main mothed is GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System)in the survey of geophysical prospecting for petroleum.PPP(Precise Point Positioning)has many advantages in survey.For example,no need base station,not affected by the distance limit,single receive and so on.PPP is one of research focus on GNSS,and PPP Has broad application prospect and production value in the survey of geophysical prospecting for petroleum.In this paper,on the base of the theory and method for PPP,real-time precise point positioning technology is discussed,and for example to demonstrate the application of the XIHE System of China in survey of geophysical prospecting for petroleum.This paper introduces the time and coordinate system of GNSS,the conversion between different time systems and coordinate system,the products of international GNSS service organization(IGS)and the precision of them.Then the mathematical model of precise point positioning,the method of cycle slip detection,parameter estimation and error correction of PPP were studied.This paper emphatically discussed the real-time precise positioning technology and the XIHE System of China,including the real-time precise orbit,clock error and ionosphere,the broadcast methods of real-time product.The method and step for user how to realizing the PPP.Some survey projects in the Changqing,Tarim and Dagang geophysical prospecting for petroleum as example,the use of a large number of survey data,verified the feasibility of application in XIHE System in survey of geophysical prospecting for petroleum,experimental results show that the XIHE System is build on our own BDS system.The level accuracy is better than 0.2m,the vertical accuracy is better than 0.3m in real-time PPP based on XIHE System.So XIHE System can use in the survey of geophysical prospecting for petroleum.
