Flight revenue is the basis of the airlines company,and scientifically grasping the key factor of flight revenue is important for airlines to make or adjust business strategy.The present studies of flight revenue have focused a lot on the analysis of the macroeconomic factors.The purpose of this paper is to study the main factors of flight revenue by analyzing microcosmic features,such as flight time,flight type and so on,so that airlines may increase the revenue,develop the right business strategy and get theoretical support for opening or adjusting flights.Firstly,this paper introduces the current research of flight revenue both home and abroad,and studies the influencing factors from the macroscopic and microcosmic aspects.It is pointed out that only a few studies have paid attention to the microcosmic factors of airline operation supply and then extracted variables like load factor,passenger number,flight time,flight type and so on.Secondly,the basic characteristics of the Structural Equation Model(SEM)are introduced,and the basic concept,theory and method of SEM are stated by elaborating five steps of modeling.Finally,based on SEM,the paper analyzes the influence of flight characteristics on RSK(revenue seat kilometer),obtains a better fitting model by using the modification indices,and use the final model to present an optimization model.The result shows that flight comfort has a relatively great influence on flight revenue,which has a certain guiding for airlines.
