Yanbei area is located in the Madong slope in the northwestern margin of Junggar basin.Permian Xiawuerhe formation is the key layer in this area,the study about fine sedimentary system and reservoir genesis and distribution of oil and gas is restricting the scale of reservoir,the key problems has never been carried out.This paper uses the basic theories of sedimentology and petroleum geology to make a comprehensive study on the stratigraphy sequence,sedimentary system,reservoir characteristics and causes,and the result explains the distribution of high quality reservoir.According to logging and seismic data,we found that Xiawuerhe developed 3 three degree sequences(PS1,PS2,PS3),and six parasequence is respectively named as PS3-1,PS3-2,PS2-2,PS2-1,PS1-2,PS1-1.According to core,logging and core analysis data,we studied the sedimentary system of Xiawuerhe formation of Permian in the study area.Research shows that the Xiawuerhe is fan delta and developed 8 kinds of sedimentary facies.Xiawuerhe formation mainly developed Madong and Xiayan resource system.In Madong 2 well area,the high quality reservoir is controlled by the fan delta front and residual intergranular pore of clay film formation on the surface of grain;In the Xiayan 2 well area,the high quality reservoir is mainly controlled by the fan delta front and intergranular pore formed by dissolution of turbidite.Evaluation of 5 parasequence group developed I reservoir totally 1662km~2.
