The Surface Plasmon Resonance(SPR)technique is a novel mark-free optical detection technique.Due to its advantages of fast detection speed,high sensitivity and real-time monitoring,it has been widely used in chemistry,biology,medicine,physical quantity detection and other fields.At present,a variety of commercial SPR sensors have been developed by many organizations.Most of the traditional SPR sensors are based on prism-coupled structure,and its theoretical model is simple,so it is easy to build the sensing and detection system.However,in the actual detection process,the size of SPR sensor is large and the cost is high,so the portable sensor detection cannot be realized.Therefore,the integration and miniaturization of optical waveguide SPR sensor have been widely concerned in the industry in recent years.In this paper,the design of optical straight waveguide SPR sensor based on OrmoCore polymer material is studied as follows:Firstly,the characteristics and modulation mode of SPR sensor are introduced,and the development advantages of optical waveguide SPR sensor and organic polymer waveguide material are summarized.In addition,the SPR principle and the mathematical model of SPR sensor are theoretically analyzed in this paper,and the mathematical model is transformed into a visual theoretical curve by Matlab software.In addition,for the optical waveguide SPR sensor designed in this paper,the fabrication process of optical devices and each subsystem of the whole sensing and detection system is introduced,including the design of conical lens optical fiber which can improve the transmission efficiency of the waveguide and the local gold-plated film technology which combines magnetron sputtering and ultraviolet lithography.Finally,combined with the sensor structure proposed above,the sensor detection system is built.The performance of the sensor is tested and its biochemical detection function is verified.The OrmoCore polymer optical waveguide SPR biosensor designed in this paper has advantages in many aspects.Compared with the reported waveguide SPR sensor,it is low-cost,practical and has excellent performance.This optical waveguide SPR sensor can be applied in the field of biochemical sensing.
