Jinhua-Quzhou Basin is rich in total water resources, but its per capita occupancy is small, its spatial and temporal distribution is uneven and its allocation capacity is insufficient. When sudden accidents such as severe drought, pollution of water sources and geological disasters occur, the existing water supply system in the area may be damaged, and the water quality and quantity of the original surface water sources will not meet the daily needs of residents. However, the groundwater in Jinhua-Quzhou red beds is widely distributed, with abundant water in some area and shallow overall water level, which is convenient for exploitation and utilization. Therefore, the development and utilization of groundwater resources in red beds is an effective means to deal with emergency water supply. In this paper, the groundwater in red beds is explored by high-density electrical method, and the law of groundwater enrichment in red beds is summarized, and the scope of water-rich areas is delineated;Based on GMS,the groundwater level in water-rich areas is simulated and the variation law of groundwater level in water-rich areas with different emergency mining schemes is predicted. The results can provide scientific basis for the planning and construction of emergency groundwater sources in this area. The main contents and achievements of this paper are as follows:(1)Through collecting and sorting out the past geological data in JinHua-Quzhou area, the hydrogeological conditions of the study area are analyzed, the electrical parameters of the rock and soil layers in the study area are summarized, and the strata in the study area are divided into three electrical characteristic layers.(2)Processing and interpreting the observed data of high-density resistivity method collected in the study area,it is concluded that the high-density resistivity method is used to search for the water-rich section in the red bed of Jinqu Basin. The electrical properties and physical characteristics of the water-rich section of the red bed are mainly "low","shallow","changeable" and "flexible".(3)On the basis of systematically summarizing the hydrogeological data of the study area and previous research results, the enrichment regularity of the red beds water-rich section is analyzed from the aspects of lithology, lithofacies, structure and geomorphology, and the enrichment regularity of the red beds groundwater in Jinhua-Quzhou Basin is summarized.(4)Based on the summary of hydrogeological conditions in the study area and the results of high-density resistivity method, the hydrogeological conditions in Bailongqiao water-rich area are generalized. The hydrogeological conceptual model and mathematical model of the simulation area are established and solved by the groundwater numerical simulation software GMS.After identification and verification, the data fitting effect is better, which conforms to the hydrogeological conditions in the area.(5)According to the design principle of emergency mining scheme for emergency water source area and the result of high density interpretation, three emergency mining schemes are designed.By forecasting the groundwater level of three emergency mining schemes and the recovery ability after exploitation,it is proved that the recharge conditions and self-recovery ability of Bailongqiao water-rich region are better, and the environmental impact of emergency mining on the region is smaller, which can cope with the emergency exploitation of groundwater of different scales.
