In recent years,the volcanic reservoirs of Jiamuhe Formation in the eastern slope belt of Zhongguai Uplift,northwestern Junggar Basin,are key blocks for increasing storage and production in Xinjiang Oilfield.But there is poor understanding of structure features,lithology identification,facies distribution and hydrocarbon reservoir characteristics controlled by volcanic lithological facies and micro-characteristics of volcanic rocks.Based on the analysis of existing data,this thesis presents a systematical study of the characteristics of lithology and facies,physical properties,the relationship of porosity-permeability,and the distribution and characteristics of fracture development on the main production layers of the Jiamuhe Formation.Finally,the geological model is built by PETREL geological modeling software.The study shows that the Jiamuhe formation was divided into nine tectonic traps by the influence of fractures.The lithology of Jiamuhe Formation can be divided into volcanic lava and clastic rocks.According to characteristics of facies,the target layer can be divided into three phases,the first phase is the eruption facies and the overflow facies,the second phase mainly is the overflow phase,the third phase mainly develops eruption facies,the entire plane distribution is NW-SE exhibition with the wide distribution and good continuity.According to the date of core?slices and FMI logging,the fractures of third phase are well-developed in the longitudinal direction.The reservoirs have high replacement pressure,small median radius,medium-poor sorted and poor pore structure,the average porosity of reservoir is 10.82% and the average permeability is 0.43 mD.Then,according to the actual geological situation of the study area and the latest evaluation results of the existing reservoirs,the geological model of the volcanic reservoirs of the Jiamuhe Formation in study area was established by using the Petrel—geologic modeling software,and the reserves were fitted,and the results showed that the model fit the underground situation...
