Mineralogical Characteristics Of Ruanjiawan Scheelite Deposit

Located in the southern margin of the Yangxin rock mass,the Ruanjiawan skarn Cu-Mo-W deposit is the biggest Cu-W mine in the southern area of Edong ore cluster.Its main ore type is Cu-W and W.The mining area has shown reserves of 40348 tons of scheelite,with the average grade at 0.32 wt %,6340 tons of copper,with the average grade of 0.73 wt %,molybdenum reserves of more than 1000 tons,with an average grade of 0.11 wt %.This study was conducted on the basis of field work investigation and sampling,the sample was analyzed using microscope,cathode luminescence image,electron probe micro analysis,scanning electron microscope image and LA-ICP-MS surface scanning analysis.The main achievements are as follows: The mineral assemblages of granodiorite in Ruanjiawan were determined by studying the mineral assemblages of sphene + apatite + maficbiotite.After estimating the biotite mineral temperature and pressure gauge,we found that ore-bearing magma has a high oxygen fugidity The Ruanjiawan hornblende are mainly the magnesiohornblende,and its composition can be divided into high and low aluminum.According to the mineral thermometers.The temperature and pressure of high aluminum hornblende is 840 ? 950 ? and 116 ? 301 mpa,the depth of the formation is 4 ? 8.5 km.The low aluminum hornblende's temperature and pressure is 750 ? 853 ? and 46 ? 101 mpa,and forms a depth of 1.16 ? 4.5 km.The garnet in Ruanjiawan skarn deposit can be divided into two stages and three generations according to the mineral assemblages and interlacing relationship among minerals.Based on the study of skarn mineral assemblage of the deposit,it is found that the mineral assemblage of Panqiao mining area,which contains carbonaceous strata in ruanjiawan deposit,is grossularite-subslacic garne-diopside.There are pyrite,chalcopyrite and a small amount of pyrrhotite in the metal sulphide.The mineral assemblage of the Maoshan mining area without carbon layer is andradite-diopside.The main metal sulfides are pyrite and chalcopyrite,and the overall mineral assemblage is similar with oxidized skarn deposits,,and the reduction environment is more conducive to the enrichment and precipitation of scheelite,The ore-forming environment of Ruanjiawan deposit has experienced a transformation from oxidation environment to reduction environment,which forming the Ruanjiawan skarn deposit.
