This thesis is on the study of the fast direct algorithm for isothermal Point Contact Elastohydrodynamicmain researchs and results contents are as follows:On the basis of Point Contact EHL direct iterative algorithm analysised deeply,discrete characteristics of solution area in numerical calculation of Point Contact EHL,a new direct iteration method for solving the Point Contact EHL problem is proposed——“solve by column iterative solution format”,The computing amount in the solution process is further reduced significantly.Compile the computer program for the new algorithm,and verify the correctness、calculation efficiency and application range of parameters of the new algorithm by a large number of calculationnumerical calculation results show that the direct iterative algorithm for solve by column of the Point Contact EHL problem that proposed in this paper is effective,and it has a higher computing efficiency and wider application range of parameters than the fast direct algorithm for the Point Contact EHL problems proposed in literature[1].Therefore,the direct iterative algorithm of solve by column for Point Contact EHL problem is the further development and improvement of the fast direct algorithm for Point Contact EHL problem.The new algorithm in this paper is a further development of the direct iterative algorithm of Point Contact EHL,and advances the direct iterative algorithm of Point Contact EHL to a new level.
