Terahertz imaging can take into account resolution,penetration and safety,and is an important means and frontier research direction for human security.In this paper,based on the 340GHz multiple input multiple output(MIMO)sparse array security imaging hardware platform,the two key technologies of terahertz MIMO sparse array imaging algorithm and grating side lobe suppression are studied.In terms of imaging algorithms,the time domain imaging algorithm BPA,the frequency domain imaging algorithm RMA and the fast imaging algorithm based on plane wave approximation,which are suitable for this 340GHz MIMO imaging,have been implemented on MATLAB.The imaging performance of the three imaging algorithms is analyzed and compared through simulation and actual measurement experiments.In the aspect of grating side-lobe suppression,the research grating side-lobe suppression technology based on coherence factor for terahertz MIMO sparse array imaging is emphasized.Three grating side-lobe suppression algorithms based on CF weighting factor,PCF weighting factor and SCF weighting factor are implemented,and the performances of the three grating side-lobe suppression algorithms are analyzed and compared through simulations and measured experiments.
