Habitat selection has always been one of the important aspects of bird ecology research.As a protected animal in Zhejiang Province,the egret is disturbed by more serious human disturbance in the urban area where urbanization is concentrated.It is of great practical significance to study the habitat selection of egrets.This paper takes the egrets in Qingshan Lake and Xianghu areas as research objects,and uses the line method and sample method to study the foraging and nesting habitat selection of egrets,and quantify the environmental factors of egrets in feeding habitats and nesting habitats.The choices and preferences are intended to provide a scientific basis for the environmental protection and optimization of the egrets in Hangzhou and even Zhejiang.The results showed that the depth of water(z=-3.833,P=0.000),plant height(z=-3.495,P=0.000)and the distance from artificial disturbance of the egret feeding ground and using the sample(t=4.261,P= 0.000)and distance from nest(t=-6.089,P=0.000),the difference was very significant,the flow rate(z=-3.092,P=0.002)and vegetation coverage(z=-2.259,P=0.024)were significantly different.The difference in the masking distance(z=-0.994,P=0.320)was not significant.The egret's foraging habitat preference is foraging in areas with water depth >0-30 cm,flow rate less than 1 m/s,vegetation coverage 0-25%,plant height less than 50 cm,distance from artificial interference greater than 100 m,and distance from nest to less than 2000 m..Elder herd nest control and utilization of arbor DBH(z=-2.827,P=0.004),tree height(z=-3.003,P=0.002),vegetation density(z=-3.644,P=0.000),vegetation The difference between the coverage(t=-4.919,P=0.000)and the artificial interference distance(z=-3.111,P=0.001)is extremely significant,and the arbor crown(t=--1.730,P=0.092),the ground cover The difference between the degree(z=-0.751,P=0.478),slope(z=-1.300,P=0.211)and distance from the water surface(z=-0.392,P=0.698)was not significant.Egret camp habitat selection prefers trees with a breast diameter greater than 20 cm,a crown width greater than 6m,and a height greater than 10 m.The preferred vegetation density is greater than 30,the vegetation coverage is greater than 0.5,the ground cover is greater than0.75,the slope is less than 25%,and the artificial disturbance distance is 50-100 m,an area less than50 m from the water surface.The protection and construction of the egret habitat can be carried out according to the influence factors and preferences of the egret foraging and nesting habitats.
