The area of Pegmatite-type rare metal deposit of Jiajika is located in the eastern Tibetan Plateau,Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garzę of Sichuan. It belongs to the Alpine hummocky plateau geochemical landscape area.Jiajika is the largest solid lithium ore enrichment region in china, formed a complete Li-Be-Nb-Ta metallogenic series. There is lots of Quaternary caused by different factors covered the surface of Jiajika area, though conventional geochemical methods like stream sediment and soil chemical exploration could find prospecting target to some extent,it is difficult to accurately indicate the concealed ore body under the Quaternary covering.Botanogeochemistry survey is apply to finding mine for multiple landscape, hoping to provide new method for Jiajika to prospect concealed orebody, the testing Study of botanogeochemistry prospecting of mine is carried out in Jiajika area. This paper investigated the natural landscape conditions and plant community characteristics of Jiajika area, and identified the distribution characteristics of the main mineralization elements and their associated elements in the dominant plant species —Rhododendron nivale Hook.f.,then the effective indicative plants and indicative elements of the study area have been comfered. The testing study of plant geochemical prospecting experiment has been carried out on the typical ore profile, discussed the feasibility and effectiveness of botanogeochemistry prospecting in Jiajika area by analyzing botanogeochemistry anomaly characterstic of different ore bodies like the combination of abnormal elemennts?the anomaly breadth and the abnormal intensity. The research shows that :(1)the contents of ore-forming elements and main associated elements in Rhododendron nivale Hook.f.and its root soil in the Jiajika digging are generally higher than that in the background area, both of which can produce geochemical anomalies, and the element anomalies in the plant are more obvious than that in the root soil.(2)the main ore-forming element Li in Rhododendron nivale Hook.f.has a good correlation with Be,Rb,Cs and W,which is suitable for being the main indicator element of Li deposit.(3)The botanogeochemistry anomaly contrast coefficients of Li,Be,Cs,Ta which is related to mineral are greater than 2,the shieding coefficients of most of elements associated with mineral are less than 1 expect Cs and Sn,Li and Ta is less than 0.5.The Rhododendron nivale Hook.f.can be used as an indicator plant of Jiajika in searching for concealed ore deposit.(4)There are differences in element contents in root?steam and leaf of Rhododendron nivale Hook.f.,The general expression is root > stem > leaf. The botanogeochemistry anomaly in root?steam and leaf of rhododendrons both can indicate concealed mineral deposits, but the abnormal contrast of stem and leaf are more clearly, indicating effect is better, more suitable for the sampling medium.(5)A good comprehensive botanogeochemistry anomaly is developed above the profile of a typical lithium deposit, which is a good indicator of the ore body.(6)The botanogeochemistry anomalies can indicate the presence of concealed lithium orebody with a depth of about 100 m,indicates that its detection depth reached 100 m.(7)The botanogeochemistry anomaly also has a good indication to niobium tantalum ore, which can be used as an indicator plant to search for them in Jiajika mining area.(8)The formation of botanogeochemistry anomaly in Jiajika is related to the anomaly of geogas and soil mobile metals forms.
