The Xinjiang East Jungar Lvyuan gold deposit belongs to the Qiongheba ore-concentrating area,which is located in the eastern section of the Yemaquan-Qiongheba Paleozoic island arc zone.It is a newly discovered gold deposit in recent years.In this study,the core spectral scanning technology is used to extract altered mineral information and elemental anomaly information from the spectral data based on the TSG(The Spectral Geologist)platform.A comprehensive and detailed study is conducted while the deep prospecting potential of the Lvyuan Gold Deposit is demonstrated.The main discussions are as follows:Based on the spectral data obtained by core spectral scanning technology,the TSG platform was used to extract the altered mineral anomaly and elemental anomaly information in the spectral data.The borehole database of the main boreholes in the mining area was established.The single-hole comprehensive histogram and the plotting of the connecting-well section were drawn to study the distribution characteristics of deep altered minerals in the mine area.It is inferred that the alteration happens in the near medium-low temperature environment by the study of the chloritization high-value area and the characteristics of altered minerals combination in the lithologic section of deep andesite.Meanwhile,the temperature of ore-forming hydrothermal fluid is further discussed.Au grade value three-dimensional model and altered minerals abundance information three-dimensional model are established based on the borehole database and three-dimensional Kriging Interpolation Method.The spatial distribution characteristics of altered minerals and their relative positional relationship with the ore body are discussed.The research proves that the ammonia-containing illite is developed in the deep mining area and affected by its structure.The nature of the ore-forming hydrothermal fluid is ammonia-rich near-neutral hydrothermal fluid.The properties and composition of the ore-forming hydrothermal fluid are further studied.Using the altered mineral information extracted from surface and underground samples to study the spatial distribution of major altered minerals.The zoning model of altered minerals on the surface and underground has been discussed with the results of the study on the spatial distribution of altered minerals in single-well and three-dimensional models.By further comprehensively analyzing the spatial distribution of the surface and underground alteration zones and the combination characteristics of altered minerals in each zone,the "surface + underground" altered mineral zone model of the Lvyuan Gold Deposit has been established,which deepen study between the altered mineral zone and the relationship of mineralization.Based on the extraction of drilling elements abnormal information,the research of the original metallogenesis halo characteristics has been done.By comparing the relationship between theelement anomaly and the relative position of the ore body in depth,the inference can be deduced that combination characteristics of the indicative element of the ore body in vertical direction.In the indicator elements(ZK2-1-1 and ZK2-3-1)study,a greater possibility is found in the deep part of ore bodies.A good prospecting prospect in the deep part of the Lvyuan gold deposit is confirmed.As mentioned above,it is a great application prospect in the study of the spatial distribution of the altered minerals and zoning model with the core spectral scanning technology,which also can be a powerful technical means for the geological research of the deposit.The author demonstrates that there is a good prospecting prospect in the deep part of Luyuan Gold Deposit.The value of spectral scanning technology has been proved in prospecting and exploration.
