Blocks With The Hyperfocal Subgroup Z₂×Z₂×Z₂×Z₂

We assume that a block b of a finite group is controlled by the normalizer of its defect group,and that its hyperfocal subgroup is isomorphic to Z₂×Z₂×Z₂×Z₂ and is contained in the center of the defect group.We calculate the numbers of irreducible Brauer characters and irreducible ordinary characters in this block in some cases.In these cases,Alperin's weight conjecture holds.
