New two-dimensional materials exhibit excellent physical and chemical properties and optical properties in passive Q-switch pulsed lasers,which has become an important means of passive Q-switched technology,and its potential value is also constantly being explored.In this paper,a MoS2 saturated absorber is used as the Q-switch element of the laser,and Ho:SSO is used as the working crystal.A passive Q-switch experiment is carried out on a 2 ?m solid-state laser,and the output performance of the laser is studied.In addition,MoO3-x is also used as a saturated absorber.Passive Q-switch laser experiments were performed on Nd:YVO4 and Er:YAG working crystals,and the output performance of the laser was analyzed.The stability of the resonant cavity is analyzed by the ABCD transmission matrix.The changes of the spot radius on the output mirror and the spot radius on the equivalent plane of the crystal are simulated and analyzed in terms of the distance between the output mirror and the end face of the crystal,the input lens focal length,and the thermal focal length.By analyzing various parameters,the resonant cavity is optimized,continuous Ho:SSO laser experiment is carried out,it is verified,and the average output power under different transmittance output mirrors is measured.At a transmittance of 30%,the maximum average output power is 3.28 W.A MoS2 saturated absorber was prepared by chemical vapor deposition and used in the Ho:SSO laser experiment.A pulse laser with a center wavelength of 2103.6 nm was obtained.At the maximum absorption pump power of 12.58 W,the average output power of the output laser is 1.11 W,and the corresponding peak power is 34.7 W.The experimental results definitely show that the MoS2 saturated absorber shows great potential in the solid-state 2 ?m laser.At the same time,Ho:SSO laser crystal is an ideal infrared gain medium.MoO3-x saturated absorber was prepared by hydration method,and passive Q-switching experiments were carried out in the 1.06 ?m and 1.64 ?m bands.The crystals used were Nd:YVO4 and Er:YAG.Stable pulsed laser output was obtained in both bands.Among them,in the 1.06 ?m band and the maximum incident pump power of 10.6 W,the highest average output power of the pulsed laser is 0.79 W,which corresponds to the highest repetition frequency of 138.8 KHz.In the 1.64?m band,under the maximum incident pump power of 9.8 W,the maximum average output power is 1.13 W,the corresponding shortest pulse width is 175 ns,and the highest peak power is 33.76 W.Experiments prove that MoO3-x has a wide modulation range,has a good application value in optical modulators,and shows good stability in an atmospheric environment.
