Adaptive Dynamic Programming(ADP)algorithm is a newly emerging approximate optimal control method in the field of optimal control,which can solve the optimal control problem quickly and efficiently.Flight control problem,as a kind of optimal control problem,has been a research hotspot in civil and military fields in recent years.In this thesis,two kinds of flight control problems of UAV formation and missile tracking are modeled and the relationship between them are discussed.ADP algorithm is used to solve the control problem of the two models through neural network structure.First of all,the ADP algorithm and structure of it are described and analyzed in detail.On this basis,the structure is classified according to whether the internal dynamic characteristics of the system are known.And two neural network structures of ADP algorithm are derived,which provides a theoretical basis for the solution of subsequent flight control problems.Then,the relative motion model based on rectangular coordinate system is established to obtain the relative motion equations of UAV formation model,and the relationship between formation problem and missile tracking problem is discussed.The relative motion model based on distance vector is established,and the parameters of relative motion equations between aircrafts are assigned.The relative motion equations in formation problem and missile tracking problem can be described respectively under different parameters.Finally,the relative motion equations of missile and aircraft in missile tracking problem is transformed into a nonlinear discrete system,and the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman(HJB)equation is constructed.The neural network structure of ADP algorithm is used to solve the HJB equation iteratively.The simulation results show that the missile can attack on the target fast and accurately under different utility functions.Then ADP algorithm is used to solve UAV formation problem and the simulation results prove the feasibility of the solution of UAV formation problem based on ADP algorithm.In conclusion,this thesis studies the flight control problem based on ADP algorithm,and verifies the efficiency and feasibility of the method by simulation results,which has certain engineering reference value.
