Hubei Province is one of the provinces with frequent geological disasters in China because of its complex geological conditions and abundant rainfall,coupled with drastic human engineering activities and other factors.In order to better study the issue of slopes in the region,in view of the arrival of the era of big data,the existing engineering data is summarized and a database of physical and mechanical parameters of rock and soil for the slopes in Hubei Province is established in this paper,and here Based on the data base,data mining and statistical analysis are performed.Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign research status and research results,The main contents of the research are as follows:(1)Research on the slope classification of national and provincial highways in Hubei Province.Firstly,the general situation of highway slopes in Hubei Province is introduced,and the engineering geological conditions are briefly introduced.Then,a slope classifi cation system with its own characteristics is introduced for national and provincial highway slopes in Hubei Province,which is used as the basis for the identification of the road slopes in the region and the establishment of the database.(2)Database establishment.Based on the SQL Server database management system,establish a database of physical and mechanical parameters of rock and soil in national and provincial highways of Hubei Province.According to the existing slope classification system,through the analysis of requirements,use case modeling,and conceptual structure design(establishing ER model),establish the structure of the database and the main worksheet of the database,respectively,the project overview table,slope properties and char acteristics table and geotechnical and mechanical parameters table,each table is based on the "project number" as the key,"substance composition of the slope" as foreign key links.(3)Statistical analysis based on Database.Based on the data collected in the database,some statistical laws of mechanical parameters are summarized through the study of statistical methods and general test methods of mechanical parameters.(4)Validation of the database.Extract data from the database,based on the principal component analysis data mining and multiple linear regression statistical analysis,hypothesis testing and parameter estimation methods,the value of the shear strength parameters of the sliding surface was estimated for a specific project instance.The comparison with the proposed design value showed a small difference,which proved the practicability of the database.The research results have certain practical value of engineering.With the increase of basic data and the improvement of database structure,the practical value of the database will be further more reflected.
