Bistatic sonar is a research hotspot of advanced sonar technology in recent years due to its unique advantages compared with single-base sonar.Bistatic sonar research mainly focuses on positioning accuracy analysis, base station configuration and so on.The Cassini oval function is the primary means of calculating bistatic sonar. However,in the theoretical analysis, the influence of sound velocity profile, seabed topography and seafloor material and other marine environmental factors are less considered. This paper establishes a bistatic sonar detection range analysis model considering the marine environment based on the sonar equation and the simulation calculation of target intensity and propagation loss. The propagation loss is mainly calculated by the waveguide environment in the shallow sea environment in the calculation of propagation loss. The propagation loss is mainly calculated by the ray acoustic model in the general marine environment. The main research contents include the following aspects:(1)Under the assumption of uniform medium,we first consider the different directions of target intensity, study the detection distance of bistatic sonar at different positions and the impact of target heading. Finally, under the premise of appeal, compare the calculation methods of different propagation losses.Impact.(2)Under the assumption of layered medium, this paper analyzes the influence of the marine environment such as sound velocity profile, seabed topography and acoustic parameters of seabed material on the detection range of bistatic sonar. This paper presents the sea trial data and processing results of the transceiving and split target detection in the actual marine environment.Using the established range detection method, the spatial layout of the optimization target and the sound source and the receiving array in the relevant sea trial scenarios is studied.Problems and suggestions for experimental improvements. The results show that in the shallow sea environment, the detection range in the waveguide environment is the smallest;the detection distance considering various influencing factors is smaller than the Cassini oval function in the general marine environment.
