Discussion On The Causes Of Coloring Of Violet Jadeite With Different Colors

Many people have done a lot of research on violet jade and its cause of color,but because of the lack of pertinence,there is no distinction between different types of violets,which leads to problems such as lack of representativeness.Therefore,on the basis of systematic research on the output characteristics of violet jade,this paper systematically classified violet jadeite,according to different types of violet jadeite,through macroscopic observation,observation under a microscope and modern testing techniques(X-ray powder diffraction,electronic probe,LA-ICP-MS test,laser Raman test),systematically studied its macroscopic characteristics,microstructure,spectroscopic characteristics,and causes of coloration,and at the same time for the first time the phenomenon of "spreading gold" in violet jade A systematic analysis was conducted to analyze the correlation between "sprinkle gold" and violet jade.The thesis research results in the following results:1.Violet jadeite is divided into three types: pink purple,eggplant purple and pink according to the different market conditions,output characteristics and hue.2.A macro summary of the three types of violet jade: pink purple jade has a purple hue,the crystal particles are relatively coarse,and the texture is mostly low-grade,which is the most common violet jade;the eggplant purple jade has a purple to blue,The texture is relatively delicate,the color is dark but the transparency is relatively good,and it can appear in the floating blue flower jade,accompanied by the appearance of gold.The color of pink emerald is pink with yellow tones and no purple tones.It is relatively rare.The texture is generally taro and waxy,translucent,light in color,and delicate in structure.3.The mineral structure of three types of violet jadeite is analyzed: the mineral composition of the three types of violet jadeite is jadeite.Pink-purple jadeite mainly shows metamorphic deformation structure,fragmented structure and grain-like structure;eggplant-purple jadeite mainly shows native automorphic-semi-automorphic crystal structure;pink jadeite shows mylon structure and delicate crystal structure.4.A comparative analysis of the chemical composition of three types of violets:pink purple jadeite has more Mn and K than eggplant purple jadeite and pink jadeite;eggplant purple jadeite has higher Fe and Mg content than pink purple jadeite and Pink jadeite,and the highest content of trace elements in eggplant purple jadeite is Fe;the content of Fe element in pink jadeite is higher than that of pink purple jadeite,but the content of element Mn is relatively low.5.Analyzed the macroscopic and microscopic characteristics of the "gold-spreading" phenomenon in the eggplant purple violet jade.It is believed that the "gold-spraying" is different from the formation of the jadeite.The precipitation of iron in the environment or the limonite mineralization of iron-containing minerals,the formation is not necessarily in the superficial state,but is generated in the oxidizing environment.It also further proves the cause of the color of the eggplant purple jade and Fe related.6.According to the mineral structure and chemical composition characteristics,the reason for the coloration of violet jadeite is analyzed and judged:(1)The fuchsia tone of pink-purple jadeite is mainly related to the chromogenic element Mn element,and the content of Mg element may affect the depth of its tone.(2)The blue tone of eggplant purple jadeite is mainly related to the trace element Fe,and the content of Mg and Mn elements may affect the shade of its tone.(3)The Mn element may be the main color element of the purple hue,while the pink jade is mainly yellow,so it is speculated that the main color element of the pink jadeite may be related to the Fe and Mg elements,and the Mn is less.
