Research On China's Air Cargo Network Layout Based On Hub-And-Spoke Network

Scientific air cargo network planning is an important foundation to gain competitive advantage and improve profitability in the civil aviation cargo market.A sound network structure can bring high-quality economies of scale.At present,China's air cargo network has problems such as irrational distribution,small coverage area,and incomplete connection of branch lines,which affect the overall transportation efficiency and limit the development of China's air cargo.The hub-and-spoke network has the characteristics of well-integrated transportation resources,reduced transportation costs,and improved operational efficiency,which can better solve the problems existing in China's current air cargo network.In view of this,this article will explore how to plan the air cargo network in China based on the hub-and-spoke network,and strengthen the construction of important nodes in the network to ensure the efficient operation of air cargo transportation.Firstly,the article conceptualizes the hub-and-spoke network and air cargo hub airport to provide a theoretical basis for the study of this paper.Second,based on the hub-and-spoke network model,we analyze and select cargo airport nodes in China through complex network methods.The cargo hub model was compared and analyzed,and the single-assignment P-hub location model with no capacity limit was determined.The taboo search algorithm was used to solve it in detail.Finally,China's axle-spoke air cargo network constructed by the gravity model mainly uses Beijing,Shanghai,Zhengzhou,Guangzhou,and Chengdu as the core nodes to gradually spread outward.The radiation from a single airport hub has gradually developed to form Beijing-Tianjin and Zhengxi.The multi-hub airports with Shanghai,Shanghai-Hangzhou,Guangzhou-Shenzhen,Chengdu-Chongqing as the core radiate outward,verifying the rationality of China's air cargo network layout based on the huband-spoke network.At last,this study suggests that we should improve the macro planning ability of the government's freight route network,promote the scientific design of the freight route network,and improve the operation quality of the transport enterprises.The relevant research conclusions have certain reference value for the industry planning and micro strategic planning of the freight route network in China.
