Qiangtang Basin is located in the middle of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,in its north is the Bangong Cuo-Nujiang structural belt while in its south is the Kekexili-Jinsha River structural belt.The Tang Basin is the largest Late Paleozoic-Mesozoic marine basin in China's land area.We analyze the oil and gas resources of the Qiangtang Basin through the geological structure and evolution of the Qiangtang Basin.Based on the predecessors,the geochemical characteristics of the source rocks in the Qiangtang Basin are comprehensively analyzed.The basin simulation method and analogy method are used to calculate the oil and gas resources of the Qiangtang Basin to have a clear understanding of the potential of the oil and gas resources of the Qiangtang Basin.This study is mainly to calculate the reserves of oil and gas resources in the three layers of the Xiali Formation,Buqu Formation and Xiaochaka Formation in the basin.By collecting and collating relevant geological data and source rock data in relevant areas.Combined with the detection data,the geochemical characteristics of the source rocks in the Qiangtang Basin are analyzed.The organic carbon content of the source rocks in the Qiangtang Basin varies greatly.In the tested area,only the organic carbon content in the Voluo Mountain area is concentrated between 0.6-0.1%,which is a good oil-generating rock;the organic carbon content in the Biluo area is greater than 1%,and the potential oil-generating content is greater than 6.0mg/g,which belongs to better oil-generating rocks;the organic carbon content and oil-generating potential of other areas are very low.The value of chloroform asphalt is very low.The overall content of organic matter abundance in the basin is not high.By analyzing the microscopic composition of kerogen in the source rocks of the Qiangtang Basin,the type of organic matter in the basin is mainly type II2 and type III.At the same time,the experimental evaluation of the reflectivity of kerogen vitrinite and the maximum peak temperature of rock pyrolysis found that the organic matter maturity of the source rocks in the basin as a whole shows a mature-high mature stage.By consulting relevant data and selecting relevant parameters,two methods were used to calculate the reserves of oil and gas resources in the Qiangtang Basin.The calculation result of the basin simulation method is 44.23×10~8 tons;the total resource of the Qiangtang basin calculated by the analogy method is 47.1×10~8 tons.
