Improved Design And Experiments Of Wireline Coring Tool With Joint Connection

As the rapid growth of China’s per capita GDP,the drilling corporations and institutions equipped with single and double pipe drilling tools,which are labor and working hour intensive,are confronted with increasingly cost pressure below 500 m hole depth.Endowment decides that domestic drilling pipes can’t be able to fulfil the thinness request of Boart Longyear Q Series in a reliable and economic way.So we came up a new drilling tool matching solution using subs to connect drill pipe,creating space to ensure connecting strength and sealability of taper thread,and realize full hole rope wireline coring in a reliable and economic way for domestic drilling engineer.In the respect of total matching,to ensure the next level drilling tool can pass through the up level,we design Φ110mm、Φ92mm wireline coring tool equipped with S75 mm standard by Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources,to achieve the same hole rope wireline coring function of Boart Longyear Q Series.Then based on the mechanical structure of Boart Longyear Q Series,we promote the mechanical design of Φ110mm、Φ92mm wireline coring tool,the evaluation in drilling engineers performed better reliability and longer service time.The evaluation of the hole rope wireline coring total matching solution performed better feasibility and economy than traditional solution and Boart Longyear Q Series solution in domestic drilling engineer in the current endowment condition,providing high industrial value and promotion value.
