Electromagnetic flowmeter is widely used in many industrial technical occasions and management departments such as chemicals,environmental protection,papermaking and water supply and drainage systems relying on its simple structure of sensor,large range ratio of detection and ability of detecting corrosion and dirty medium.The important development aspects of electromagnetic flowmeter are precision and power consumption.In order to expand the application cases of electromagnetic flowmeter,the demand of portable and simple structure and low power consumption increases in the design.Under this condition,the signal is weaker and hard to be processed,and Chaos theory has great potential in weak signal detection due to its strong noise immunity and well signal sensitivity.Under the premise that the device is powered by battery,in order to reduce power consumption and improve the precision,the electromagnetic flowmeter is analyzed from the mode of excitation,the way of signal processing,the improvement of intelligence and the detection with Chaos theory in this article.The details mainly include the selection of excitation mode,the design of pre-amplification circuit,the improvement of intelligence by using low power consumption MCU and the simulated detection of the weak signal by taking the advantage of Chaos theory.In order to reduce the power consumption of electromagnetic flowmeters,low-power chips are selected,and the suspend mode or work mode of each module can be adjusted intelligently by controlling the MCU.In order to improve the accuracy of detection,on the one hand,optimizing the module of signal processing circuit,on the other hand,using the method with Chaos theory which is on the basis of nonlinear dynamics.First,generating the simulated signal data according to the signal from the circuit.And then testing on the particular scenario with the practical application such as the excitation frequency is controlled and the high accuracy is demanded in theelectromagnetic flowmeter.The experiment of Duffing oscillator detection system based on the Chaos theory was carried out on the MATLAB platform.By adjusting the amplitude of drive signal to observe the tracks of chaos states,the results showed that the system owned strong noise immunity and high precision with the weak signal.It means that the system has the application value in detecting weak signal of electromagnetic flowmeter.After completing the design of hardware circuit,the electromagnetic flowmeter is tested and compared with the the standard meter.The calculated error of the detection is 0.5-1%.The power consumption is reduced,and the device has practical application value.
