Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration is of great strategic significance as a new national urban agglomeration.With the acceleration of urbanization,heat island problem has become an obvious obstacle to the development of Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration.As an environmental problem accompanying urbanization,heat island has serious effect on the urban living environment and has a huge negative impact on the economic and social development.Taking space research as the starting point,this study systematically studied the spatial evolution characteristics of land cover and heat island intensity of Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration by using spatial statistics,spatial feature quantification and spatial visualization and other spatial analysis techniques,so as to comprehensively understand the land changes and heat island spatial evolution of Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration.On this basis,the spatial regression analysis technique is used to explore the spatial spatial pattern factor correlation characteristics and the spatial differentiation characteristics of heat islands in the Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration.Finally,based on the above research conclusions,some suggestions and directions for the optimization of thermal environment are proposed for different cities in Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration.Based on the study of land cover in the Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration,it is found that from 2001 to 2015,the trend of all kinds of total land area in theurban agglomeration is relatively stable.However,there is a complex land replacement phenomenon among different land cover types,which mainly occurs in forestland,grassland and farmland areas.Urban construction land is mostly converted from grassland,and the central city Nanning has the most obvious increase in construction land.The spatial pattern of woodland,grassland and farmland changes greatly,but the spatial pattern of construction land,water area and other land changes little.The spatial pattern of each land type in Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration has obvious changes in the dimensions of patch size,density,edge feature,neighborhood feature and shape feature.The patch area feature,edge feature,shape feature and neighborhood feature of the overall landscape spatial pattern have obvious changes.The study on heat island of Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration shows that the heat island of Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration is more and more extensive.Guangxi region is the main area for the enhancement of heat island in the Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration.The trend of heat island in urban built-up areas often appears "hollowing out" in space,that is,the trend of heat island enhancement at the edge of city is more obvious than in the central area,which is caused by the expansion of construction land at the edge of the city.The hot spot of the urban agglomeration in Beibu Gulf is obviously influenced by the nature of the land.Forestland and construction land can produce stable cold spots and hot spots respectively.In these 15 years,the hot spots of the whole Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration are increasing,but the spatial pattern is relatively stable.A comprehensive analysis of the spatial characteristics of land cover and heat island shows that there is a clear correlation between them.The spatial correlation analysis of land spatial pattern factor and heat island intensity in Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration was carried out.It is found that there is an obvious correlation between land spatial pattern factor and heat island intensity.In addition,it is also found that the influence of various land spatial pattern factors on heat island has obvious geographical spatial differentiation,and the influence of the same factor on heat island in different regions is completely different.Each factor has its specific heat island interpretation rate distribution characteristics.Finally,based on the particularity and difference,some suggestions are put forward to optimize the thermal environment of different cities.
