The Jiangshan gold deposit is the largest gold deposit ever identified in the Anhui Bengbu uplifting area with accumulated proven gold resources are about 14 tons.The geotectonic location of the mining area is located in the North China Block,Xuhuai Block and the Bengbu uplift area,which is surrounded by faults.The magmatic intrusion activity in the area is multi-period and multi-type,especially in the granitic intrusive rocks in the area.Mafic rocks mainly include gabbro and diabase with small scale.The deposit is located in the Wuhe Group metamorphic rocks in the near-East-West tectonic belt named Guangou-Xiajiaji,with later Yanshanian quartz diorite porphyry and quartz diorite(Xiaowangfu rock mass).There are three ore-bearing tectonic belts in the Jiangshan mining area.One is lead-zinc-bearing tectonic belt which is present in the Linhuaiguan-Lianggang fault.The overall trend of this belt is north-north-eastward,tending to the southeast,and the dip angle is about 30°-50° with the apparent thickness is between 35 m and 70m;the other lead-containing zinc,gold and copper ore belt is located in the east-west structure of the Guangou-Xiajijia family,and the west side is the north-south east-facing Linhuaiguan-Lianggang fault,the east side is north-south east to the Bawangcheng-Lutang fault.The overall direction of the belt is northeast to east-west,tending to the south,the inclination angle is about 35°,and the control thickness is between 4m and 410 m.Last one gold-bearing structural belt is distributed in the west side of the Bawangcheng-Lutang fault.The overall trend of the belt is distributed in the north-south direction,tending to the west,the dip angle is about 60°,the length in the working area is more than 350 m,and the control apparent thickness is between 3m and 10 m.The cumulative thickness of each of the 186 gold,lead,zinc and copper ore bodies in the whole mine area is 1915.28 m,of which the total thickness of gold ore bodies is 1135.20 m,the cumulative thickness of lead-zinc ore bodies is 772.35 m,and the cumulative thickness of copper ore bodies is 7.73 m.The metal minerals in gold ore are mainly natural gold,silver gold,silver bismuth,galena,leucite,lead bismuth,sphalerite,chalcopyrite,copper basket,pyrite,limonite,magnetic Iron ore,hematite,siderite,arsenopyrite,rutile,etc.;non-metallic minerals mainly include calcite,quartz,graphite,biotite,amphibole,sericite,etc.;metal minerals in lead-zinc ore mainly include galena,sphalerite,chalcopyrite,silver bismuth copper,gold and silver ore,natural gold,silver gold,white lead,lead bismuth,limonite,magnetite,hematite,etc.;non-metallic minerals are mainly calcite,dolomite,quartz and a small amount of amphibole,kaolinite,chlorite,garnet,etc.The gold and silver minerals in the ore are mainly natural gold and silver gold ore,which are less in content and unevenly distributed.They are closely related to sulfides,and are often associated with sulfides,and are mainly associated with galena and yellow iron.In the mine,a small amount is produced in sphalerite and gangue minerals,which are mostly elongated,granular and round.The deposit is a new type of gold-lead-zinc mine discovered by our team after nearly ten years of geological work in the Bengbu-Fengyang area.It is controlled by the formation of the Wuhe Group Zhuangzili Formation and is controlled by the east-west fault.The lead and zinc are related to the north-north east fault,and the later Yanshanian neutral rock plays a further catalytic role.Its origin is temporarily defined as the “gold-lead-zinc layered deposit” controlled by stratum,structure and magma.
