In this paper,the Fukang fault zone in the southern margin of Junggar Basin is taken as the research object.Fukang fault zone is a secondary structural zone in the southern margin of Junggar Basin.The fault development is very complex.It has undergone many stages of structural superimposition and transformation,such as Hercynian,Yanshan and Himalayan.Its geological and structural conditions are complex,but under the complex fault structure,it contains abundant oil and gas resources.On the basis of predecessors,this paper uses three-dimensional seismic data interpretation to interpret the existing seismic data.The geological structure of the western Fukang fault zone has obvious Stratified Deformation Characteristics and basement deformation characteristics.The Middle Permian and Lower Permian have been duplicated at least twice.The deep part of the basin has Triassic system,and there are more secondary structures in the basin than the western part.The tectonic evolution of Fukang Fault Zone started from the early and middle Permian rift basin evolution stage to the present.It has undergone compression,deposition,compression flexure,re-deposition and finally Himalayan tectonic movement to form the final tectonic framework.After studying the structure of Fukang fault zone,the hydrocarbon accumulation characteristics of Fukang fault zone are studied.For Fukang fault zone,the two main factors of hydrocarbon accumulation are as follows: 1.There is a reasonable space-time allocation relationship between traps and source rocks;2.The adjustment of faults formed by tectonic movement as oil and gas migration and passage and formed oil and gas reservoirs.Finally,through the analysis and comparison of geological research,it is considered that the Jinan paleo-uplift may be a favorable exploration target in the next step from the aspects of formation time,structural pattern,stratigraphic structure and reservoir-forming model.
