The measurement of Lidar speed has great demand.Long-distance and environmental influences cause the active detection echo signal to be very weak and the accuracy of speed measurement to deteriorate.In this paper,the research on improving the accuracy of photon heterodyne velocimetry is carried out in response to the important requirements of photon-level velocimetry.Firstly,this paper introduces the domestic and international research status of photon heterodyne detection system and the domestic and international status of speed measurement accuracy improvement.Subsequently,the basic working principle of photon heterodyne velocimetry was introduced.In this paper,theoretical studies on the effects of atmospheric turbulence and scattering,heterodyne efficiency,and photon counting statistics on the photon heterodyne detection system are carried out,and the theoretical formula of response is derived.Then,on the basis of theoretical derivation,through the random phase screen method and Monte Carlo method,We complete the simulation study of atmospheric turbulence and scattering.At the same time,we also carry out heterodyne efficiency and the effect of photon counting statistics on the accuracy of photon heterodyne velocity measurement.Then we carry out research on improving the accuracy of velocity measurement.We improve the accuracy of velocity measurement under the influence of atmospheric turbulence through algorithmic compensation technology.We improve the accuracy of velocity measurement during depolarization of atmospheric scattering through the polarized photon heterodyne detection system.We adopt the polarized photon heterodyne detection system and the airy disk system to improve the heterodyne efficiency and speed measurement accuracy.We improve the speed measurement accuracy under photon counting statistics through the method of coincidence counting.Finally,we also carry out theoretical and simulation studies on the influencing factors of photon heterodyne velocity measurement range.The improvement of speed measurement accuracy has laid the foundation for the subsequent photon micro-motion measurement and photon heterodyne micro-motion imaging,and it is of great significance for accurate target recognition.
