At present, the stability analysis of reinforced soil structures is often carried out by deterministic methods, which use safety factors to evaluate the stability of reinforced soil structures. But the theory and practice prove that the factors affecting the stability of reinforced soil structures are complex and changeable, such as the spatio temporal distribution characteristics of the shear strength parameters of soil, the random variation characteristics of the design parameters of reinforcements and so on.In addition, analyzing the stability of reinforced soil structures under the strength limit state is an important link in its design. Therefore, considering the variability of design parameters of reinforced soil structures,it is reasonable to design the strength limit state of reinforced soil structures.Based on the principle of limit equilibrium and the mechanism of logarithmic spiral failure, this paper uses Monte Carlo method to study the strength limit state of reinforced soil structures and evaluate the reliability of reinforced soil structures. This article mainly does the following work:Based on the principle of limit equilibrium and the mechanism of logarithmic spiral failure, the stress analysis of reinforced soil structures is carried out first, and the function function of reinforced soil structures and the equation of strength limit state are determined.Monte Carlo method is used to calculating the probability of failures Pf of the reinforced soil structures under the strength limit state. Then carrying out parameter analysis to explore the influence internal friction angle ?,cohesion c,soil weight ? and reinforcement tensile force T on the probability of failures Pf of reinforced soil structures under different working conditions.A single factor sensitivity analysis method was used to determine the sensitivity order of each factor influencing the probability of failures of reinforced soil structures under the strength limit state. It was found that when designing the reliability of reinforced soil structures, the effects of internal friction angle ?,cohesion c and horizontal seismic coefficient kh on the strength limit state of reinforced soil structures should be fully considered.Based on the general separation method, first, calculating the resistance partial coefficient ?R and load partial coefficient ?s of the reinforced soil structures under different design conditions. Then carrying on statistical analysis to ?R and?S to determining the recommended values of the partial coefficient of the reinforced soil structures. Then referring to the relevant specifications, checking the recommended values of the partial coefficient. Finally, the design expressions of the strength limit state of the reinforced soil structure under different design conditions are established. This is of great significance for improving the relevant specifications of the design of the strength limit state of reinforced soil structures.
