This paper firstly investigates the evaluation methods of shale gas selection areas at home and abroad,analyzes the applicability of domestic and foreign evaluation parameters and methods,and combines the geological conditions with high thermal evolution and complex tectonic background in the southeastern part of the Sichuan Basin,and explores shale gas selection evaluation methods suitable for the area.In this paper,the descriptive analysis of each block in the study area is carried out.For the prospective area with low exploration level,the principal component analysis method is adopted to reduce the dimension of multiple indicators in the evaluation block.For the blocks with higher exploration degree,the regression prediction method is adopted,and the data of typical representative parameter wells in the block are used.Based on the gas content,the prediction model of gas content in the region is obtained.According to this model,the relationship between each parameter and gas content can be clarified,and the gas content of the geological conditions of the block can be predicted,and the target area with high shale gas enrichment is preferred.The preferred results of the two methods for the block are consistent with the actual situation of the block,this verifying the rationality of the method.This paper considers the mechanism and the correlation between data,and accurately establishes the relationship between data,so as to optimize the shale gas favorable block and predict the gas content of shale gas,So that data analysis technology can be applied to shale gas selection.
