Tuha,Chinese western region, which is mainstay to ensure the increase of oil and gas storage and production in China, seismic migration imaging technology is one of the core technologies in seismic data processing.Reverse time migration(RTM),based on twoway wave equation, could image any complex structure in theory so that it holds wonderful prospect in western complicated region. This paper mainly studies the forward modeling of acoustic wave equation,RTM and real seismic data application. In the forward modeling section, this paper studies arbitrary even-order accuracy finitedifference method and hybrid absorbing boundary condition.Arbitrary even-order accuracy finite-difference method could simultaneously consider both computational precision and computational efficiency.Hybrid absorbing boundary condition is easy to implement and it holds high computational efficiency combined with fine performance. On the basis of hybrid absorbing boundary condition, this paper studies and implements an improved hybrid absorbing boundary condition, this scheme adopts new computational strategy in corner and weighting coefficient respectively, which further suppresses boundary reflection and improves the absorbing result. In the migration theory section, this paper implements RTM algorithm based on arbitrary even-order accuracy finite-difference method,as well as compares two imaging results with different image conditions.Meanwhile,it verifies the effectiveness about Laplace operator filtering with respect to remove the low frequency noises and applied the improved hybrid absorbing boundary condition to RTM of the theoretical model. In real seismic data application section, this paper firstly processes 2D real seismic data about Tuha region, and then finishes Kirchhoff migration and RTM respectively, compares two imaging results with different methods.Later, this paper compares the advantages and disadvantages between the Kirchhoff migration and the RTM results, discusses the two method's applicability in Tuha region's real seismic data. Finally, this paper puts forward some viewpoints and gives a few recommendations.
