The Xinzhai tin deposit is located in the southeastern part of Yunnan Province,and the Tin reserves of the deposit reaches a large scale.The mining area is located at the junction of Yangtze block,Huaxia block and Indo China block.The ore-bearing strata are rich in organic matter,carbonaceous and sulfide.Due to the influence of multi-stage granite,the stratum is generally metamorphic.Based on the systematic review of the geological data and research results of the predecessors in the Xinzhai mining area,this paper carried out a comprehensive geological survey of the mining area,and analyzed the ore-controlling factors,and discussed the spatial relationship between the ore-controlling elements and the ore bodies.Geophysical,geochemical and remote sensing information was extracted and position corrected,and the prospecting direction of the mining area was discussed.The main results of the study are as follows:1.The Xinzhai Formation in the mining area is the key prospecting level.The east and west wings of the syncline in the mining area have ore prospecting space.The amphibolite facies belt and the green schist facies belt formed in the contact zone of the granite are often form layered skarns and tin bodies.2.The geophysical Magnetic anomaly and Dual frequency induced polarization anomaly range have a high degree of fit to the ore bodies spatial location,and multiple geophysical anomalies around the mine area have implications for mineralization.3.The geochemical anomalies of various metal elements in the mining area are mainly distributed in the exposed area of the Xinzhai Formation.The anomalous areas of tungsten and tin in the western part of the mining area are indicative of prospecting.The tin,copper and zinc anomalies in the Xinzhai group of the eastern part of the mining area can be used as a focus for prospecting.4.The linear structure distribution in the remote sensing data of the mining area can help to judge the extension of the ore-bearing space.After the gray level of the true color image is inverted,the distribution of the dark area of the mining area may be related to the iron-induced alteration.5.This thesis discussed ore-prospecting directions of the deposite and three ore-finding perspective areas were determined.
