With the rapid development of Web2.0 technology,geospatial data platforms based on user spontaneous creation and maintenance have begun to emerge,such as OpenStreetMap,Wikimapia,Google Map Maker and so on.The public can upload and share geospatial data by implementing the functions of uploading data and labeling on these service platforms.These geospatial data created and maintained by the public are called Volunteered Geographic Information(VGI).Compared with traditional GIS professional mapping data,VGI data has significant differences in the way it is created or maintained.Volunteers do not need to have strong surveying and writing expertise and skills,only need to upload and update data through handheld or car GPS terminals.Therefore,VGI data has the advantages of short update period,strong current situation,and low acquisition cost compared with traditional survey data.However,it is precisely because the volunteers who upload data do not have strong surveying and mapping expertise,which leads to problems such as inconsistent data format,incomplete topology information,and unknown data quality of VGI data.In order to make better use of VGI data to serve the public,this article takes the most successful case of VGI,OpenStreetMap,as an example to study how to use VGI data to match and update road network data.This paper first analyzes the reasons for the error of VGI data,proposes a set of quality evaluation model for VGI data,and secondly studies the recognition of microstructure in VGI data,and proposes a microstructure recognition algorithm based on K-nearest neighbor algorithm.Finally,A road matching and updating method based on AHP and Stroke algorithm is proposed.The main work done in this paper is reflected in the following aspects:(1)Analyzed the difference between VGI data and traditional surveying data and the main reason for VGI data error.Based on this,a set of quality evaluation model based on VGI data is proposed.The model quantifies the quality evaluation of VGI data by extracting the data integrity,attribute information accuracy,positioning accuracy and other indicators of VGI data.(2)The microscopic geometric details of VGI data are very rich,and the original VGI data cannot be directly utilized.Therefore,it is necessary to identify the microstructure,eliminate and simplify some of its data.After analyzing the geometric details of VGI data,the characteristics of the VGI data are quantified.Finally,the corresponding micro-structure recognition algorithm is proposed for the pedestrian bridge and the complex road junction,which realizes the simplification and elimination of the microstructure.(3)Match and update existing road data using VGI data.This paper proposes a matching update algorithm based on AHP and Stroke algorithm.Firstly,Stroke is used to express the road network,then the similarity index is proposed,and the corresponding weight of the index is calculated by the analytic hierarchy process to achieve the matching of the same name road.Finally,the existing data is updated by the successful matching road.
