The non-ferrous metals in the mid-west of Guangxi are rich in minerals and types. The main minerals include gold, silver, lead, zinc, tungsten, tin, antimony and so on.Among them, typical deposits include Shijia,Longchuan Gold Mine,Fenghuangshan Silver Mine,Changchun,Haojing Lead-Zinc Mine,Luowei Tungsten-Thorium Mine, etc. In the region, previous researches mainly focused on the relationship between granite and mineralization, but they did not discuss and study in detail the basement strata which related to the enrichment of various ore-forming elements and magma activities. The basement strata in the mid-west of Guangxi are well exposed, except for the Jurassic,Silurian faults and the Ordovician, which are only exposed in Daming Mountain, the development of the strata in other eras is relatively complete.A detailed and in-depth study of the old basement is beneficial to understand the evolution process and the elemental integration of minerals in the mid-west regions of Guangxi. In this paper, the old basement strata of the three research areas in the mid-west of Guangxi were selected as the research objects, and influence and control effect on regional mineralization were identified.By systematically sampling the basement samples and magmatic samples in the study area, the main elements, trace elements and hydrocarbon components are tested and analyzed, and finally a comprehensive systematic comprehensive comparison was carried out.Summarized the literatures of predecessors, and used the theory of synergistic mineralization as a guide to analyze the laws of enrichment, differentiation and superposition intensity. Then, combined with the geochemical characteristics of typical magmatic rocks in the region and the scale, type and distribution characteristics of known minerals. Finally, explained the relationship between the basement strata in each area and the mineralization in the area, the analysis of mineralization potential. The main conclusions drawn run as follows:1.Through the analysis of the geochemical characteristics of the old basement strata in different sections of the mid-west of Guangxi,it is found that the elements W?Sn?Pb?Zn?Au?Ag etc in the old basement strata are enriched in the area, which is significantly higher than the Clark value;the differentiation coefficient is high, and the high strength coefficient is more likely to be further integrated into the mine,it has good mineralization potential, and it is consistent with the minerals found in the area.2.There are differences in elemental characteristics and element combinations of the old basement strata in different regions.Among them,Yuanbaoshan is combination of Pb,Ag,Bi,Au and Sn;Xidaming shan is combination of Sn,Bi,W,Ag and Cu;Baise is combination of Cu,Cr,Au,W,Co.It shows that differences are existent in the mineralization materials of different regions.3.The normalized curve structure of the hydrocarbon composition in the old bases of the three regions is similar, indicating that the mineralization in different regions may have a similar evolution history. On the content of total hydrocarbon components, the content of Yuanbaoshan and Xidamingshan is closely and significantly higher than that of Baise, which shows that the mineralization of Yuanbaoshan and Xidaming shan is more obvious, and it is more favorable for regional mineralization.4.The rare earth content is similar and low for Yuanbaoshan granite and Xidamingshan granite, and its diagenetic material source is relatively deep.In addition, the granites in the two regions are obviously anomalous, and the rock is well-divided.It indicates that the magma intrusion into the environment is deep. The total amount of rare earths in the Baise diabase is relatively high, the source of diagenetic material is relatively shallow, the anomaly is not obvious, and the rock is poorly differentiated. It shows that the magma intrusion environment is shallow.5.Due to the influence of elemental stratigraphic enrichment, combination, degree of transformation and magmatic rock activity in different regions of the study area, the deposit types and mineralization scales in the mid-west of Guangxi are different. The Yuanbaoshan area is focused on lead-zinc ore and associated antimony ore,the tungsten-tin ore and the manganese ore also have potential for prospecting, and the mineralization scale is large;the West Damingshan area is dominated by tungsten-rhenium ore,lead-zinc ore and silver ore,the mineralization scale is large;the Baise area is dominated by gold ore,and the mineralization scale is relatively small,it mainly is small and medium size.
