With the rapid development of science,technology and the economy,the demand of the human for pollution-free clean energy is increasing day by day.Due to the huge reverses,marine energy has received great attention.Ocean wave energy generation is one of the important ways to develop marine energy at present.The direct-drive ocean wave power generation system is directly driven by linear machine,eliminating energy conversion devices such as transmission shafts and gearboxes,and has the advantages of high efficiency,low cost,simple system structure,etc.In the direct-drive ocean wave power generation system,the tubular linear motor has many outstanding advantages: no winding ends,high winding utilization,no lateral end effects,no normal force,high power density,etc.,has broad application prospects.The research is focus on a Tubular Partitioned-Stator Flux-Reversal Permanent Magnet Linear Machine(TPS-FRPMLM).On this basis,the main contributions in this thesis are as follows: Firstly,the working principle and mathematical model of TPSFRPMLM were introduced.And structure optimizations were completed based on the topology with four different slot/pole combinations.Furthermore,the effects of slot/pole combinations and longitudinal end effects on the performance of the machine were analyzed and related measures to reduce the end effects were proposed.Secondly,based on the characteristics of the tubular structure,a 12 slots / 11 poles TPS-FRPMLM with single-layer winding was designed,and its performance was compared with double-layer winding with the same optimization conditions,including no-load flux linkage,no-load back-EMF,detent force,on-load characteristics,etc.,the results show the advantages of single-layer winding.Then,considering the difficulty of processing and manufacturing on the tubular linear machine,a novel quadrilateral linear machine was proposed and its performance was compared with the single-layer winding TPSFRPMLM.Finally,the main work of this thesis was summarized,and the future research work was prospected.
