Auxin is essential for the regeneration of adventitious roots. The detection of Auxin has restricted study about working mechanism of growth hormone. At present, detection of growth hormone mainly through fluorescent and chromatography technologies.Besides, the high-efficiency liquid-phase mass spectrometry is widely used in the qualitative analysis of Auxin, but the operation process is more complex and not conducive to the rapidly detect Auxin. In contrast, our research uses a paper-based electrochemical detection method, which is more suitable for detection of Auxin because of its high sensitivity and fast response.Electrochemical detection, using a highly sensitive electrochemical system, modified by multi-wall carbon nanotubes, can analyze electrochemical properties and then analyze the level of Auxin. Moreover, the results of electrochemical suggested that level of Auxin has increased significantly over time and growth hormone reached the maximum value within 24 hours and has been synthesized rapidly in 8 to 12 hours. We also found that the electrode can specifically identify substance and mediate electrode reactions, resulting in a fixed peak potential interval. This working principle can be used not only to analyze Auxin, but also to detect other hormones such as salicylic acid. The study further improves the electrode material, and finds that the use of stainless steel electrode can effectively increase the detection range.Furthermore, the study improves the efficiency and accuracy by optimizing the detection method.Electrochemical detection has the characteristics of high sensitivity, simplicity and fast response speed, and has a wide range of application.
