Heavy oil in Shan 2 block in reservoir of Shanjiasi oilfield has been developed for thirty years. It is on high water cut and several rounds development stage on the west Shan 2 block with serious thermal interference between wells, flooding, sand production, casing damage, etc.More and more production wells were shut down and the control degree of single well is very low.In order to solve these problems existing in Shan 2 block of Shanjiashi oilfield and enhance the oil recovery efficiency, the author sysemiclly studied the stratum, tectonic structure, reservoir features of the shan 2 block using drilling, logging, seismic and oil production data,as well as dynamic monitoring data.Taking the gray green mudstone with high induction resistivity logging as marker, the development member Es34 was divided into 5 cyclothems.According the seismic interpretation results, the stuied area is just a single slope with north part higher than south. There is only one fault with the direction of NW-SE.The porosity and permeability is different among the 5 cyclothems.Distribution of effective reservoirs and the intercalation is different between different cyclothem. The pressure, geotemperature and fluid feature such as acid sensitive, alkali sensitive etc have all been discovered. The reserves and its distribution in the block were been found.Remaining oil is mainly distributed in the West and between wells, vertically in 1,2,3 prosodic segment.According to the result,a reasonable plan for further development has been provided. The first to the fourth cyclothems and the fifth cyclothem should be divided into three layers. The vertical wellbore should be replaced by of horizontal wellbore.13 wells have been drilled according to development plan and more than 10 thousand tons heavy oil was exploitated.
