Yunnan Province is located on the eastern edge of the collision zone between the Indian Plate and the Asia-Europe Plate,with high seismicity and frequent earthquake disasters.Earthquake disasters are the most serious natural disasters in Yunnan Province.Earthquake disasters have caused inestimable losses to Yunnan Province.Mitigating earthquake risk has become a very real and challenging problem.Earthquake disaster risk zoning turns passive disaster prevention into active disaster avoidance.Seismic risk zoning of regions is an important link in earthquake prevention and disaster reduction.It provides guidance for earthquake prevention and disaster reduction for land planning and urban construction.Based on the results of the risk zoning,it is of practical significance to take targeted measures in different areas for reducing economic losses and reducing casualties.Based on the research results at home and abroad,this paper builds a theoretical system of earthquake disaster risk zoning,evaluated the hazard and vulnerability of earthquakes in Yunnan,and carried out risk zoning of earthquake disasters in Yunnan.The main work of this article can be summarized as follows:1.Based on risk theory and disaster theory,this paper described the existing theoretical system of earthquake disaster risk assessment and builds a theoretical system of earthquake disaster risk zoning.2.Using 129 counties(districts)in Yunnan Province as the unit,collect peak acceleration values of each county,and determine the intensity of each county(district)through the relationship between peak acceleration and intensity of ground motion.According to the intensity level,the earthquake risk level of each county(district)is divided into five levels.Compilation of earthquake hazard zoning map of Yunnan Province based on GIS.3.From the three aspects of population,economy and society,this paper selected11 vulnerability assessment indicators to construct the Yunnan earthquake disaster vulnerability assessment index system,use the principal component analysis method to weight the indicators,use SPSS to obtain the earthquake comprehensive vulnerability score,The segment point method classifies seismic vulnerability and divides it into five levels.This paper draw the zoning map of earthquake vulnerability in Yunnan Province based on GIS.4.This paper Classified the earthquake disaster risk through the improved risk matrix.The risk level is divided into five levels: extremely high,high,medium,low and low.At last,this paper draw a map of earthquake risk zoning based on GIS.According to the results of risk zoning,analysis and suggestions are given.
