The Qaidam Basin of Qinghai province is arid with little rain and harsh climate.Lycium barbarum(wolfberry),a cash crop with a wide planting area,is the main industry in this area.However,the farmland soil of wolfberry is faced with such problems as low soil moisture,serious evaporation,poor soil texture,lack of organic matter and serious running of water and fertilizer for a long time.To improve farmland soil in the area,this study conducted a flat plot with film mulch(PM),a flat plot with film mulch and the organic amendment(FPM),a ridgefurrow planting with film mulch(RM),a ridge-furrow planting with film mulch and the organic amendment(FRM),through 2018 and 2019,a two-year field positioning observation test,organic amendment in wolfberry in the whole growth process was studied on the soil bulk density,saturated water conductivity,nutrients,moisture content,temperature,the growth of the wolfberry parameters,the influence of the quality,yield and water use efficiency,is expected to increase the area of farmland soil moisture content,improving the structure of the top layer of soil.Improve soil water and fertilizer retention ability to improve the yield and quality of wolfberry.The results show that:(1)The organic amendment combined with ridge mulching can reduce soil bulk density and improve soil nutrient status.The application of organic amendment had significant positive effects on the increase of soil bulk density,saturated water conductivity,nitrate nitrogen,total nitrogen and organic matter contents within 1 m(P<0.05).With the increase of soil depth,the soil bulk density increases gradually.As time went on for two years,the bulk density of each layer of FPM and FRM gradually decreased,and the soil bulk density of FRM treatment was the most significantly reduced by 3.64%.The soil saturation water conductivity was also improved by applying organic improver for one year.The content of soil nutrients decreased with the increase of soil depth,and the content of soil nutrients in the topsoil was the largest.In two years,the contents of nitrate nitrogen,total nitrogen and organic matter in 1 m of organic amendment treatments(FPM and FRM)all increased,among which,FPM nitrate nitrogen increased by 27.78%,total nitrogen increased by 18.94%,and organic matter increased by 20.35%.(2)Organic amendment combined with ridge mulching significantly improved soil moisture in soil of planting wolfberry.During the two years of monitoring,the soil moisture content in each treatment reached its peak at 40 cm deep in the soil layer,which first increased and then decreased as the soil depth increased.The soil water content of 0-100 cm was increased by 1%-25% and 3%-18% respectively in 2018 and 2019 when compared with the average soil water content of 100 cm in the treatment of organic improver FRM and the treatment of RM.Within 20 cm of soil temperature in 2019,the birth period,due to the adopted coated setting each processing,so put conditioner treatment of soil temperature compared with the control treatments,soil temperature ascension is not significant,but 5 cm soil layer soil temperature throughout the reproductive period increased by 2%-9%.(3)The growth parameters of wolfberry could be optimized,the quality of wolfberry could be improved,the yield of wolfberry could be improved and the water use efficiency could be improved.In terms of plant growth parameters,the plant height and ground diameter of wolfberry treated with FRM were always the highest in the plant growth period,and the application of organic amendment increased the plant height and ground diameter of crop growth.The FRM treatment significantly increased the total sugar and vitamin C content of wolfberry,increasing by 2.99%,7.93%,24.36% and 13.38% in 2018 and 2019 compared with the RM treatment.Applying organic amendment can promote the use of water,reduce the ET,an average of two years,FRM treatment of evaporation transpiration(ET)is RM was reduced by 3.30%,FRM process yield and water use efficiency(WUE)increased by 8.12% and 11.48% respectively than the RM processing,from cornfields of FPM evaporation transpiration(ET)is PM was reduced by 1.23%,FPM process yield and water use efficiency increased by 6.62% and 7.82% respectively than PM process.
