| The number portability policy is being adopted by more and more countries to maintain effective competition in the mobile communications market. The number portability policy will reduce user switching costs, weaken the operator’s role in locking users, and then promote user switching. In this case, the original balance between operators and users will also change with the number portability policy. If the operators do not actively adopt marketing strategies to develop new users and retain old users, this will cause a certain degree of decrease in market share and decline in profits.Based on the above background, this article takes the number portability policy as the research background, and carries out theoretical research from the perspective of mobile communication users and operators.Under the policy of porting numbers, the mobile communication users are studied with the willingness to transfer as the research entry point.Data is collected through questionnaire surveys. The structural equations model are used to construct a model of influencing factors for users’ willingness to transfer to the Internet and the conduction mechanism of the factors.According to the hypothesis verification results of the structural equation model,it can be seen that four intermediary factors, such as conversion barriers, competitive attraction, customer satisfaction, and number portability policy perception, will have an impact on the final factor users’ willingness to transfer networks.Among them, competition attraction and number portability policies perception is a positive effect, while conversion barriers and customer satisfaction are both negative effects. In addition, the negative direction of conversion barriers has an impact on competitive attraction, with an impact value of 0.29.In the first-order factor, conversion cost and usage habits, will affect the conversion barrier.Among them, the conversion cost will have a greater impact on the conversion barrier, and the use habits will positively affect the conversion cost.It has a significant effect on customer satisfaction,of which service/price has a greater impact, and network quality has a smaller impact. At the same time, network quality has a positive effect on service/price perception. For operators, the Markov chain model is adopted, and the Salop circle city model in game theory is introduced to analyze the impact of the number porting policy on changes in operator market share and service prices, and explore whether the implementation of this policy is beneficial to major operators are competing effectively to change the unbalanced pattern of China’s mobile communications market. The results of the study show that the implementation of the number portability policy will have an impact on the market share of the three major operators, which in turn will affect the unbalanced pattern of the Chinese mobile communications market. The research method of the Salop circle city model is used to analyze the short-term impact of the number portability policy. The results of the study show that the implementation of the number portability policy has an impact on the market share and service prices of operators, making the market share and service prices of strong operators show a downward trend, while the market share and service prices of weak operators upward trend. This makes the service price and market share of each operator further shrink. If the user gets more utility difference from the operator, the more the price gap narrows, the lower the operator’s service price makes the user benefit. At the same time,at the beginning of the implementation of the number portability policy, the producer surplus will decrease and the consumer surplus will increase. |
