The metasurface realizes the effective control of electromagnetic wave phase,amplitude,polarization and other characteristics through the sub-wavelength element array.The research of structural color has been an important research direction in the field of metasurface.Compared with traditional chemical dyes,environmental pollution and fading are common.Structural colors provide an environmentally friendly and sustainable color realization solution.Due to the high efficiency and narrow bandwidth characteristics of guided mode resonance,the metasurface sub-wavelength unit structure is designed using guided mode resonance theory to achieve high saturation structural colors in common color gamuts.The main work and innovations of the paper are as follows:?1?Use the theory of guided mode resonance to establish an equivalent waveguide model,and calculate the resonance wavelength by solving the intrinsic equation of the equivalent waveguide model.At the same time,the finite-difference time-domain method is used to calculate the spectra under different parameters,and the influence of structural parameters on the resonance line is analyzed.?2?The metasurface of the designed three-layer structure uses Si O2as the substrate material,and the grating layer and the uniform waveguide layer use Si3N4,which meets the basic conditions for the guided mode resonance effect.After given the structural parameters,the software is used to simulate the spectrum in the visible band.?3?The optimized parameters enable reflection peaks with different resonance wavelengths to be obtained only when the grating period is changed.The reflection peak efficiency in the entire visible light region exceeds 90%,and the half-height width is less than 10 nm,achieving high-efficiency and high-saturation structural color.Study the influence of the polarization state and incident angle of incident light on the realized structural color,and explore more application potentials.Since the structural color having excellent characteristics of environmental protection,stability,and high spatial resolution,with increasing micro nanofabrication process,it is widely favored for large scale instead of the traditional dye.At the same time,due to the optical characteristics of the micro-nano structure,the structural color also has huge application potential in the fields of visible light communication,optical anti-counterfeiting,data storage,and optical sensing.
